Dave and Mike operate a 6-acre pond system in a town noted for its famed Italian restaurants. They have a manufacturer in town that produces frozen dinners — and wastewater discharge that is about 110 degrees F. These high water temperatures create low dissolved oxygen conditions which, in turn, cause odors in the collection system and lagoons. OxyFresh was metered into their system and VitaStim 6000 was added into their lagoons to solve their odor problem and reduce sludge.
