DAZZeL XX-30 Dairy

Odors caused by plants that produce milk, cheese, and other milk products are very potent. During the heat of the summer, these odors can cause serious problems. Some of our customers have sludge storage tanks that will hold 2000 gallons; during the heat of the summer it can smell like 2000 gallons of rotten milk.

DAZZeL XX-30 is a blend of essential oils chosen for their natural ability to neutralize the odors generated by undigested Dairy Fat and Dairy proteins. This product is used in cheese and milk production plants across the United States. It can be added into the waste stream at 1-10 ppm or atomized above the tank. Some customers simply pour 5 gallons into the top of the tank when it reeks.

In facilities with biological wastewater process we recommend our VitaStim 2200 Dairy be added to their process to speed degradation and prevent odors.

To control the odors, we did a couple of things, including adding a DAZZeL misting system. You can see the DAZZeL being atomized into the air from the misters. This very simple system stops the complaints.
